First Day – Chianti Tour

Give your senses a treat with a tour to the world renowned Chianti area and discover the Monteriggioni fortress. The tour takes us to the green and beautiful part of Tuscany, easily one of the most charming regions of Italy where the great Chianti wines are produced.

We invite you to discover the magnificent sights blended with the stunning flavours that make Chianti one of the most unparalleled areas in the Italian peninsula. As you cover the distances, lose yourself in the contemplation of the breathtaking landscapes that solemnly roll past your window. Step into the outstanding fortress of Monteriggioni and learn all about its deepest history.

Complete the trip with a visit to a local winery where you will be able to get a taste of that delicious Chianti wine with expert wine tasters giving you tips to make the most of your experience.

Second Day - Siena San Gimignano & Chianti Tour

Be seduced by the beauty and tranquility of the wonderful Tuscan countryside on this luxurious day tour from Florence. In a breathtaking golden landscape of wildflowers, vineyards and black cypress trees rising against the soft Mediterranean sunlight, discover sleepy towns, beautiful Italian architecture and some of the world's most delicious wines. Our first stop is San Gimignano, a picturesque medieval hilltop town now a Unesco World Heritage Site. Then it’s on to gorgeous Siena where you'll explore the beautiful cathedral, one of the great examples of Italian Romanesque-Gothic architecture, with incredible frescoes and gold leaf work inside.

Then move on to Chianti to visit a wine cellar and sample some of the beautiful local wines, some still served in typical squat ‘fiasco’ bottles in a straw basket. You will also enjoy some free time to explore the commune of Monteriggioni, the medieval town mentioned in the poet Dante Alighieri’s masterpiece, The Inferno.

Third Day – Museum Express Tour

Short of time but still want to visit the best museums in Florence? Then come along on an express tour of the Uffizi Gallery and Accademia Gallery. Even with just a small amount of time you can still visit the two most famous art galleries in the world with an Express Tour. Start the morning at the Uffizi Gallery and then make your way to the Accademia Gallery with skip the line entry. Enjoy an overview of the most famous paintings on show and see masterpieces by Renaissance Masters without missing out on the artistic treasures Florence has to offer.
