AMALIA RODRIGUES becomes one of the best examples in the performing of Fado, which gradually makes its way into the aristocracy and then quickly becoming a uniquely identifiable type of portuguese music. It has gained international recognition, MARISA being today the woman who has best followed in the footsteps of Amalia Rodrigues.
