Retrace the ancient streets the pilgrims walked, without missing an occasional stop at the extraordinary monuments of the historic centre, or the archeological remains of the city’s Imperial Age. This unique experience gives you the chance to visit the four papal basilicas — the majestic San Pietro and the lavish Santa Maria Maggiore in the center and the imposing San Paolo Fuori le Mura and the solemn San Giovanni in Laterano right outside the ancient city walls — and get to know the secrets of the Eternal City in this Holy Year of the Jubilee.

As it is not possible to visit all seven pilgrim churches in a single day, we will concentrate on the four major Basilicas in order to give you the chance to explore three of them in depth, on the inside as well as out. An expert guide will lead and accompany you on the tour, whose pleasure it will be to explain the stories behind these treasures which only Rome can offer, created thanks to the will of the powerful Popes who presided over the city.
