The tour starts toward the base of Pedra Bonita, where is located the free flight ramp. With a privileged location, the ramp off of hang gliding and paragliding allows a beautiful view of the city, including the two brothers hill, Sao Conrado beach and favela Rocinha. We follow the trail to Pedra Bonita with a light walk which takes about 40 minutes to the top. From Pedra Bonita summit is possible to see the beaches of Barra da Tijuca and São Conrado, besides the immensity of the Tijuca forest around. It is a natural lookout and one of the best views to photograph the city of Rio de Janeiro.
After the descent of Pedra Bonita the tour continues to Tijuca national park towards the chinese pavilion, which was built between 1902 and 1906 to honor the chinese who brought the cultivation of tea to Brazil. You can see many sights from this angle, as the Christ the redeemer, Guanabara bay, sugarloaf, Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon and Ipanema and Leblon beaches.
Meeting/pick-up point: Pick up at the hotel in Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Leme and Downtown.
