The tour begins with a 90-minute bus ride from Civitavecchia Port Cruise Terminal to the Eternal City via the highway. The van drops guests off in Rome closed to the Via della Conciliazione near Saint Peter's Church. Upon reaching Rome, explore the city at your own pace, stopping in a church to visit frescoes and sculptures, dropping by a cafe for a leisurely coffee, or walking the charming streets and taking in the classic beauty of the city.

One fantastic value 24-hour ticket allows you to hop-on / hop-off across the boats and the double-decker busses as many times as you like across all the day, interchanging your hop-on's and hop-off's to suit your sightseeing plan. Guests can jump on and off the bus and the boat just as you like to see the sights, have a meal or go shopping and enjoy unique sweeping perspectives of Rome from its river or on the way on the top of a bus; furthermore, for a smooth tour operation, there are stops of the double decker bus closed by the drop off and either meeting point for the transfer from and to Civitavecchia Port.

Meeting/pick-up point: Your driver will be waiting at the Shuttle bus-stop at Piazzale / Largo della Pace, located in front of the harbour. A representative will be holding a sign with your name. You need to get to the meeting point by (free) shuttle bus offered by the port authority (it is the only shuttle with the only stop offered by the port authorities).
Duration: Eight hours approx. Boat experience one hour and 15 minutes approx.
Hop on-hop off bus full loop lasts approximately 2 hours according traffic conditions.
Start/opening time: Departure from the port of Civitavecchia at 9:30am.
Boat experience first ride from Dock Castel Sant'Angelo or Tiber Island at 10am.
Hop on-hop off bus runs from 11am to 3.30pm.
End or closing time: The bus departs from Rome to return to Civitavecchia at the tourist bus stop Colosseum at 3:30pm in Via di San Gregorio (not include pick up at the dock, guests have to make their way). Boat experience last ride from Dock Castel Sant'Angelo or Tiber Island at 5.30pm. Service ends at dock Castel Sant’Angelo at 6.30pm.
Languages: Boat experience in two languages / bilingual in English, with French, Spanish, Italian or German, depending on the majority of customers on board.
Others: Winter months boat is not operating. Customers are required to show up at least 15/20 minutes prior departure.
Notes for the return journey: Customers are required to make their own way to the meeting point for the return transfer to Civitavecchia. Please go to Via di San Gregorio public bus stop side Costantine Arch and Domus Area sidewalk which is nearby the Coloseum. Guests are required to be at the meeting point at least at 3:45 pm. In case of delay the driver will be forced to leave with the rest of the group and the passengers will be forced to use an alternative mean of transport at their own expenses.
