City tour with Berlin Dungeon experience

See the glory and the gory in Berlin with this fascinating combination of a city sightseeing bus tour and a visit to the terrifying Berlin Dungeon, which mixes history with fantasy and adventure. The bus tour features stops at 20 convenient landmarks throughout the city, including the dungeon, of course!

There are two along the Kurfuerstendamm, which is handy for the zoo and Memorial Church among other attractions. There Kultuforum stop allows you easy access to a host of cultural attractions such as the State Library and the Decorative Arts Museum. Maybe alight at Potsdamer Platz and see the Berlin House of Representatuves or the remnants of the Berlin Wall while there’s also a stop at Checkpoint Charlie and the East Side Gallery. Or hop off at Alexanderplatz and check out the TV Tower or the East German Motorbike Museum. The stop at Spandauer Strasse is a brief walk from the Dungeon. Other locations with stops include the Brandenburg Gate and Charlottenburg Palace. The route, which in its entirety lasts about two-and-a-half hours, also covers many shopping arrears.

The Berlin Dungeon explores the dark underbelly of the city with nine notorious characters from its past reenacting their grizzly tales. The journey takes you down the Elevator of Doom through the Lost Catacombs of the Hohenzollerns to the Torture Chamber and more. Meet a worryingly enthusiastic plague doctor and the sadistic Butcher of Belrin, who killed countless women and sold their remains from his hot dog stand.

Meeting/pick-up point: Any of the 20 stops for the bus and No.2 Spandauer Strasse for the Dungeon.
Start/opening time: Dungeon at 10am or 11am depending on the season. Bus operates every 10 minutes between 10am and 4pm from April to October and every 15 minutes between 10am and 3pm from November to March.
End/closing time: Dungeon closes at 5pm or 6pm depending on the season
