This program is completely devoted to nature, geology, ecotourism. With volcanic formations, wetlands, canyons carved by erosion of dunes, protected fauna and beaches, there is lots of adventure.

First to Ponta Preta, Then on to Monte Leão and Oásis da Fontona, a verdant area in the middle of the desert. Followed by Palmeira , Regona. Next the natural pools of Buracona where is located the ‘’Blue Eye’’. Then to "Terra Boa" and the "mirages". Continue onto the Salinas de Pedra de Lume, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Cape Verde. Panoramic view of the volcano, float and relax in the warm, therapeutic waters of the lake. After this ‘’salt bath’’ lunch at the restaurant "CALDERA PRETA", owned by the famous singer Mirri Lobo. Followed by a visit to Shark Bay to observe the "inhabitants".

Return to Santa Maria by the east coast via Ribeira de Tarrafe, Serra Negra, Kite Beach, Salinas, Santa Maria arriving at the hotel at the time of the of the sun going down.

Meeting/pick-up point: Pick-up at the hotel.
Duration: Approximately 8 hours.
Start/opening time: At 9am.
End/closing time: At sunset.
Opening days/period: On Wednesday.
Languages: Portuguese, English, French, Italian and German.
Not included: Entrance fee in the Salinas, fresh water shower after the bath (to be paid locally).
Others: Activity only available on Sal island.
