We begin our tour by wandering through the calli and the old districts known as sestieri in Sant Croce and San Polo. Here you will see the salt flats of the rich bygone Republic of Venice before proceeding to Rialto, the first settlement, with its characteristic market. Visit the oldest church in Venice and cross the famous Rialto Bridge to reach our next destination: the district of San Marco. This place is the true hub of Venetian commerce, tourism and society. Set eyes upon the splendid Byzantine Basilica and, once inside, gape in awe at the pure gold tiles that compose its mosaics. Other highlights are the Renaissance Clock Tower and the Gothic Palazzo Ducale, behind which is the renowned Bridge of Sighs.

After the tour, you have free time to eat in one of the many delicious Venetian restaurants and even to enjoy a romantic afternoon floating along the canals in a traditional gondola. This tour is the perfect way to get to know this magical city.
