Suitable for those on a tight time-frame and would like to experience Istanbul and Gallipoli at its finest. Visit Istanbul, Gallipoli and the ANZAC Dawn Service, visit the place of legendary Troy and see a replica of the the Trojan Horse. Enjoy a conference about the ANZAC Dawn Service and annual event held by ANZAC experts coming from Australia and New Zealand, in cooperation with our professional Turkish ANZAC tour guides.

Day 1 - Istanbul Arrival Day – (Airport transfer from Istanbul Ataturk Airport, welcome cocktail and ANZAC conference included)
Met on arrival at Ataturk International Airport. (Arrival airport transfer from Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) can be arranged at additional charge). Transfer to hotel and free time until 6pm when the Conference about the ANZAC Dawn Service and Turkey will start (duration approx 1 hour). Welcome cocktail, coffee, tea and snacks are included and chance to meet your fellow ANZAC Day Gallipoli tour members. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2 – Istanbul City Tour (Breakfast included)
Depart at 8:30am after breakfast for your guided Istanbul city tour visiting the major sites in the historic Sultanahmet area of the city, including the fabulous Topkapi Palace, home of the Ottoman Sultans for centuries, the Blue Mosque dating from the early 17th century, the Hippodrome which marks the area of an old chariot race track and finishing with a trip to the spice or Egyptian Bazaar, full of aromatic aromas and a great place to buy herbs and spices to take back home. Return to hotel approx 5pm. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3 - Gallipoli Tour (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
We depart for Gallipoli at 7am (4.5 hours distance). On the way we will watch the latest documentaries about the Gallipoli campaign. We arrive in Gallipoli for lunch on the coast of Gabatepe. After lunch we start our tour of the Gallipoli peninsula. Visit Kabatepe War Museum, ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Australias Memorial and Cemetery, Quinns Post, Turkish 57th Regiment Cemetery, the Nek, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial and Cemetery. Overnight at hotel in Çanakkale.

Day 4 - Troy Tour & ANZAC Cove (Breakfast and buffet dinner included)
Today we will visit the Trojan horse and the ancient city of Troy, located on the other side of the Dardanelles Straites (approx. 1.5 hours distance including ferry). Return mid-afternoon and meet later at 5:30pm at the hotel for our buffet dinner before heading to ANZAC Cove to stay overnight at the ANZAC Commemorative Site in preparation for tomorrow morning’s Dawn Service. Overnight at ANZAC Cove.

Day 5 - ANZAC Dawn Service at Commemorative Site Gallipoli
Dawn Service, ANZAC Commemorative Site, North Beach. Australian Memorial Service, Lone Pine canceled by DVA. Turkish 57th Regiment Memorial Service. New Zealand Memorial Service, Chunuk Bai. After attending the ANZAC services, at approx. 3pm we will travel back to Istanbul (4.5 hours distance). Overnight at hotel in Istanbul.

Day 6 - Istanbul - End of ANZAC Tour (Breakfast included) .The tour ends here.

Meeting/pick-up point: Pick-up from Istanbul Ataturk Airport.
Duration: 6 days.
Start/opening time: The arrival time of your flight on the first day.
End/closing time: At the time of check-out from the hotel (11am) to make your own way to the airport or next destination.
Languages: Shared tour: in English. Private tour: in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic and Chinese.
Others: Included : arrival airport transfer between 8am and 11pm (every two hours), 4 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 2 dinners, 3 nights at 5* hotel in Istanbul, 1 night at 4* hotel in Çanakkale, all entrance fees mentioned in the itinerary, travel insurance.
The governments of Australia and New Zealand have announced that the Gallipoli peninsula will be closed on 24th April 2017 for safety and security purposes, cemeteries and memorials cannot be visited as in previous years therefore, this tour is done on the 23rd April instead.
Don't forget to bring warm clothes, sleeping bags, wet weather gear, torches, hat, sunscreen and good walking shoes.
There are some food and drink stalls available at ANZAC Cove but also advisable to take some along as well.
Optional - sleepings bags can be provided but must mention this at time of booking. Not included: International flights; all other types of insurance; Turkey entry visa; items of a personal nature such as alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, laundry; any others expenses which are not mentioned at the included section.
