Westminster Abbey is a working Church, part of the Church of England. It is also the House of Kings, where the coronation of Kings and Queens has taken place since 1066, and where many of the Kings and Queens of the United Kingdom are buried.
Your guide will take you on a journey through history of the Abbey with stories about many great men and women memorialized within the medieval walls: statesmen and politicians, lawyers, warriors, clerics, writers, artists and musicians. In 2011 the Westminster Abbey was the place of the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
