Who will be crowned this year’s winner of the prestigious WeGotTickets Musical Comedy Awards? Wonderfully entertaining Tina urner Tea Lady and the ten finalists from this year’s competition invite you to this riotous celebration of the UKs best up-and-coming musical comedians! A surreal and wonderful experience. As the Musical Comedy Awards demonstrate, the genre is currently bursting with talent. Who’s performing and how does the show work?
Our finalists have not yet been decided as our competitors are currently battling it out at our live shows at the Phoenix in Cavendish Square. On the night, each of the ten finalists will perform 8 minutes of their musical comedy material and a series of industry judges will vote for the winner. Our sponsors will also judge which act had the best audience reaction and present the Audience Favourite Award to the winner. There will also be a performance from our Best Newcomer.
Meeting/pick-up point: 29, Shaftesbury Avenue.
Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Start/opening time: At 7:30pm.
