Discover a side of Paris often forgotten by tourists and visit the colorful Marché d’Aligre. When it comes to Paris markets, the Marché d’Aligre is about as lively as they come, bordering the vibrant North African shops and comprised of two market spaces: the indoor Marché Couvert Beauvau and the outdoor street market.
Visit the rare covered market, one of the last 20 remaining from the original ""les passages couverts"" or covered passages nestled behind Paris great boulevards. Stroll through the rows of stalls and peruse the vast selections of tapenades, spices, flowers, and coffees, among other things, and then head over to the connecting flea market for some bizarre finds.
