Then view a more modern era at Gantxo house point or the Central Market. From Valencia, travelling along the rice fields, you'll reach the island of El Palmar where you'll enjoy a relaxing boat trip on the Albufera Lake and watch a typical Valencian fishing demonstration. You’ll also get to sample ‘mistela’, a local sweet wine, served with cake.
