You wouldn't believe how many iconic television and movie moments were shot within a stone's throw of NBC Studios. We'll be touring the Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, iconic sights of Central Park like the bridge featured in Home and Away and the Friends fountain and dozens of other famous sites from shows like Sex And The City, Seinfeld and movies like Wolf of Wall Street.
Then walk in the footsteps of Johnny Carson, David Letterman, Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon on the official NBC studio tour. Traveling with an NBC Page you'll learn exactly what happens at 30 Rock: From writing the scripts all the way through to broadcast.
Your tour starts with a screening in the new 4K theater before moving on to a tour of the building. See the newly-renovated rotunda and enjoy a special visit to the Operations Center. This is where the real magic happens. As the nerve center of NBC, staff here are responsible for every second of broadcasting; from the camera angles on your favorite talk show to breaking news.
You'll get to see the sets too (of course!), visiting at least two NBC studios such as that of Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon or Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Not only will you get a chance to go behind the scenes on this NBC tour, you'll also have the opportunity to get in front of the camera!
With guidance from NBC staff, your group will make a 5-minute segment. Since there will be only 12 people in your group there will be plenty of jobs to go around. Take the mic as talk show host or interviewee. Don a pair of headphones in the sound studio or take up position behind the camera. After your tour, NBC will email you a copy of your segment for your showreel (or just your social media - your call).
