The view is exceptional over the enormous crater of Caldera de Taburiente. From here, it is downhill all the way to Puerto de Tazacorte, at the end of the Las Angustias Gorge. In the distance, we catch a glimpse of the old fishing refuge, with its fishermen s taverns and its bustling every-day life.

Route: Duration: 1.5 h stop included. Distance: 5 km. Altitude: -510 m. Level: easy middle strenuous.

Meeting/pick-up point: Pick-up from hotels in Puerto del Carmen, Puerto Calero, Costa Teguise, Arrecife and Playa Blanca between 8.30am and 9.30am.
Duration: 2 hours aprox.
Start/opening time: Los Cancajos at 9am and Puerto Naos at 10am .
Others: Suitable clothing and trekking shoes are recommended. To take sun protection, hat, wind /rain jacket and warm clothes for the winter months is also important. We offer free our guests on the tours our rustic wooden walking sticks. Feel free to bring your own hiking equipment.
