Información

Jingshan Park-Situated in the city center, it is a beautiful royal landscape garden. Covering an area of 230,000 square meters (about 57 acres), the park stands on the central point of the south-north axis of the city and faces the north gate of the Forbidden City. It is found on Jingshan Hill, which was originally named Wansui Hill (Long Live Hill), Zhen Hill or Meishan Hill (Coal Hill). The mid summit of the hill is the highest point in Beijing. Looking from the peak, the visitor is able to get a full and clear view of the Forbidden City.

Beihai Park is now one of the best of China's classical gardens with artificial hills, pavilions, halls, temples and covered corridors today. In summer, Beihai Park is an ideal place to escape from heat. The view in front of the magnificent White Dagoba on top of White Dagoba Hill is of the golden tiles and red walls of the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park with its five pavilions to the east and the graceful buildings of Tuancheng (the Round City) and the green waves of Zhongnanhai to the south. One can also have a panoramic view of the Great Hall of the People, the Museum of History and many high-rise buildings in Beijing. Beihai Park is really one of the most popular scenic spots in the capital, Beijing. Beihai was opened to the public in 1925 and in 1961 it was one of the first important cultural sites placed under protection by the State Council.

Hutong Tour-The tour welcomes tourists into the old courtyard-style neighborhoods (called "hutongs" in Chinese) and everyday traditional life of Beijingers who still love their old ways. A line of black pedicabs with red canopies awaits customers at the back gate of Beihai Park.

Nanluogu Lane is close to the Forbidden City, which has about 800 years' history. Hutongs at the eastern and western side of the lane are opposite to each other, maintaining the planning pattern of "Punnett square" streets, lanes and hutongs in Dadu of Yuan Dynasty. As a kind of quadrate yard architectural complex, it has longest history, the biggest scale and the highest grade and it is best preserved, where the Ancient Dwelling House of Wanrong, Seng-ko-lin-ch'in Royal Mansion, the Ancient Dwelling House of Sichuan Governor-General Kuijun and other cultural relic protection units are located. When in Nanluogu Lane, whether you go to "Passby Bar" and other leisure bars for get-together and watching Peking Opert or you go there to look for ancient relics and appreciate folk customs, the ancient and simple gate and exotic alcohol brands, you not only can experience historical flavor and fashion breath, but also be immersed in the strong Beijing-flavor culture
