Meeting with your driver guide at your hotel and road to Yamoussoukro. Little stop during the way and arrival after around 2 hours. Yamoussoukro, situated at 240 km from Abidjan is the Administrative Capital of Ivory Coast since 1983.
You will visit one of the biggest places of Christian Worship with the “Notre-Dame de la Paix” Basilica. Built on 130 hectares and endowed with 8400 m2 of the stained-glass windows, the Basilica overtakes 17m to the original “Saint- Pierre” of Roma. After the Basilica, you will visit the Adja Swa museum which is the most important museum of the country where you will find masks, musical instruments, Baoulé’s statues.
After the lunch in local restaurant “Maquis”, road to the crocodile pool surrounding the presidential palace. Visit of a mosque and the Houphouët Boigny’s foundation.
