Departure for a city tour of Abidjan. Visit down town, the Cocody’s Cathedral with his residential area and handicraft center, possibility of shopping at C.A.V.A. After the lunch at a typical restaurant, you will cross Henri Konan Bedié’s bridge for the departure to Grand Bassam in the afternoon. Grand Bassam is a UNESCO World Heritage.
The first capital of Ivory Coast is located 43 kms from Abidjan. Situated between Atlantic Ocean and Ebrié Laguna, you will visit the French colonial district with his wooden houses, the “Musée des Costumes” which was the governor palace before the independence. This museum holds an important collection of traditional costumes. After you have a stop at the handcrafts shops of Grand Bassam.
