Amatenango del Valle, a community located 20 minutes from the city of San Cristobal de Las Casas. It is a picturesque community, ranging from the typical dress of their women: skirts blue, red skirt, white blouse embroidered in red and yellow and touched; to the wonderful creations of pottery as jaguars, doves, pots, and bowls, among others.

The tour begins, leaving the hotel in San Cristobal de Las Casas to the pottery community. We come to a workshop where these beautiful pieces are made. Experts give us an explanation of the process of the mud, creating the pieces, burnished or correcting imperfections, burned and painted parts.

At the end they will have the opportunity to choose a piece from pots, bowls or pots guys to have the opportunity to decorate with paint by yourself, leaving as a memento of this visit. When finished, return to San Cristobal de Las Casas to the city center.
