If there’s one place you can’t miss in Zante, it’s Smuggler’s Cove. An arc of sands framed by white cliffs and accessible only by boat, it fronts many Zante postcards. And for good reason - it’s spectacular and home to the wreck of an alleged smuggler ship which ran aground in 1982. On this morning trip, you’ll take a boat from nearby Porto Vromi and have one and half hours to relax and take in the beauty of the surrounding coastline and the bay itself. Your trip is timed to avoid the busiest part of the day giving you time to take a look around the shipwreck, swim in the crystal clear waters or simply lounge on the beach and soak up the spectacular scenery. At 1pm you’ll reboard your boat and on the way back to Porto Vromi you will sail past Zante’s famous Face of Poseidon cave - a grotto naturally eroded into the shape of the face of the sea god.
