Come along for a Viennese whirl with this six-hour introductory walking tour of Vienna. See all the main attractions in the historic centre, including the Hofburg Palace, the State Opera, St Stephen’s Cathedral, Mozart’s last residence and the old university quarter. There are also visits to the Imperial Treasury and the haunting Sisi Museum.

Start out at Michaelerplatz, a grandiose square where Roman ruins are surrounded by the baroque St Michael’s Church and a wing of the Hofburg Palace. Continue to the heroes’ square, Heldenplatz, to the Josefsplatz, site of the National Library, and to the Spanish riding School. Visit the vast Hofburg and explore the Imperial Apartments, including Sisi’s dressing room, and the Chancellery where the former court silver collection is housed. At the Sisi Museum, you can view more than 300 items related to the tragic empress. Visit the Imperial Treasury and admire the dazzling Habsburg crown jewels.

View the stunning State Opera and wander through the Neuer Markt.
