Travel to the home of flamenco and bullfighting – Seville. This city is textbook Andalucia, with Moorish architecture, palm-shaded plazas and boulevards lined with orange trees. The drive up there is a scenic one, passing vineyards, olive groves and orange tree plantations. We’ll start off with a walk through the Parque de Maria Luisa, with its fountains, ponds, palms and orange trees. You’ll also find the Plaza España here, which features grand pavilions coated in colourful tiles. We’ll take to the water next, viewing the old and new parts of the city from the Torre del Oro river. Back on terra firma, you’ll have some free time to explore and grab a bite to eat before we set off on a guided walking tour. We’ll tick off the huge Gothic cathedral, then potter through the tangle of narrow streets in the old Jewish quarter, the Barrio Santa Cruz. The day finishes off with a mini-sightseeing tour by bus, before we head back towards the coast.
