On this multi-day tour, you’ll get inside of the tradition of Holy Week across the city of Seville. You’ll follow one of the crafts or sisterhoods and their paths of faith through this Easter Parade. Holy Week is the most important period of the year, during which the entire city comes to a standstill, while processions of local venerated icons are held from the afternoon to the morning of the next day.
Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday, which may also be known as Passion Sunday in some denominations. Traditionally, it commemorates the Triumphal entry into Jerusalem, one of the few events described in all four Cano Sisterhood of the Holy Entrance to Jerusalem, the Holy Christ of Love, Our Lady of Help and Santiago Apostle.
