The 57 mile line of track passes through many charming North Country towns with exceptional dining, great shopping and exciting local events. Whether you prefer a leisurely pace or crave adventure, the Saratoga & North Creek Railway can connect you to fun outdoor adventure in and around the Adirondacks. From spring through fall, the Adirondacks come alive with activities the whole family can enjoy – hiking, fishing, rafting, horseback riding and more.
If you are looking to get away from it all, why not try a train ride to North Creek and enjoy a half day hike in the wilderness with Square Eddys or consider an overnight at one of the oldest dude ranches in the country at 1000 Acre Ranch? We stop at both locations and you don’t even need a car. Adventurers can take the train to Hadley and raft some of the best whitewater in the Northeast with SOC Outfitters. All three locations offer numerous options for overnight and weekend accommodations.
