Having been picked up at your hotel, you will be guided towards the pearl of the Salzkammergut, winding your way through the picturesque lake district. You will pass many quaint villages on route which will give you a flavour of local life in Salzkammergut.

With many options to greet you upon arrival at Hallstatt you could start by taking a train to the top of the entrance to the salt mines. Then, if you´re feeling adventurous there is the option to descend into the 450 year olds mines. If not, the views looking out over Hallstatt and the surrounding area are enough to take your breath away. It is hard not to leave this magical place feeling in awe of the splendid scenery.
