The tour explains modern and antique Catalonian and Spanish Christmas traditions and the tour ends with a taste of typical Christmas sweets. We begin our tour visiting the Santa Lucia Christmas Market. This Market celebrates its 228th anniversary (1786-2014) and is one of the oldest and most firmly rooted Christmas traditions of the city.
Then we will continue our tour visiting the most typical place of Christmas Traditions in Barcelona, Plaza Sant Jaume where every December visitors wait patiently to have the privilege of admiring the famous outdoor “Belen” that changes each year. Among the traditional figures of baby Jesus and the Three Kings, have fun looking at the "caganer" a typical Catalan figure depicting a farmer doing his business... And a symbol of hope and fertility!
Finally we will finish the tour at one of the best Christmas sweets shops of Barcelona where you can taste & learn about typical Christmas Sweets. Our tour finishes here.
