Start the tour at Amsterdam’s beloved 9 Streets shopping area. The quirky and cobbled streets surround the city’s grandest canal and is truly a breathtaking location, perfect for shopping. You will also find lots of quaint and cute little cafes to rest your feet in and indulge in a coffee before hitting the shops again. With over 200 retailers based here, you definitely won’t run out of things to browse!

Stroll past the most expensive and luxurious brands in Leidsestraat, find high-end brands such as Karen Millen and Paul Warmer. Be sure to take-in the elegantly designed shop windows and the picturesque views of the canals.

Next, we move onto an Art Lovers paradise, The Spiegelkwartier which literally translated means the Mirror Quarter. This is an absolute must for anyone that has a passion for art, antiques or unique purchases. With over 70 specialty dealers, you will be able to find a range of different pieces varying from Art Nouveau to pieces from the late 17th Century even to nowadays artworks. Visit the Gassan Diamond Factory, even if you don’t fancy spoiling yourself, you’re still allowed to fantasize right? Admire the enormous rocks, polished to perfection.

Check out the trendy and alternative Haarlemmerstraat and Haarlemmerdijk, offering independent boutiques and specialty stores, where you will also find the oldest cinema in the whole of Amsterdam.
