Feel involved in the everyday life in Amsterdam with this handy tour visiting all the most iconic places passing through the 4 main canals: Prinsengracht, Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Singel. This is also an ideal tour for enthusiastic photographs as your driver will stop anywhere along the way your perfect shot.

Cruise through Rembrandtplein, one of the busiest squares in the city named after the famous Dutch painter, Rembrandt van Rijn and features a large statue of the man in the middle of the square, gazing down at the flocks of people around him. Admire the architecture and surrounding buildings as we pass through Waterlooplein, the home to the city’s largest flea market and located in the old Jewish quarter. Spot the Dutch National Opera House that majestically stands on the waterfront.

Just a few minutes away from centraal station you will find yourself amid Dam Square, built in the 13th century around the river Amstel to prevent the Zuiderzee Sea from flooding the city. It was once home to the hippies in the 60’s but that happy and relaxed vibe has remained ever since.

Admire the Zuiderkerhof, a 17th Century Protestant church and was the inspiration to one of Monet’s masterpieces. Nearby, you will see Nieuwmarkt, famous for being a key place to socialize with its many bars and cafes with excellent expanding terraces, perfect to sit in the sun and enjoy a drink.

Drive past the Zeedijk (sea dyke) an essential part of making Amsterdam the business city that it is today, free of regular flooding. Be amazed as we delve into Chinatown, observe how even the signs are written in Chinese!

See the Westermarkt, textile market with over 170 stalls! Then reminisce a sadder part of history by passing by Anne Frank’s house where she started her ever so famous diary. If there’s time we will also visit Leidseplein and the iconic Museum Square.
