Punta Cana Food & Wine Festival It is the official food festival of the main tourist destination in the Dominican Republic. This event aims to promote the vast and diverse cuisine of Bavaro-Punta Cana destination for visitors and residents.

Its program of activities offers a range of cuisine options and the world of beverages, such as tastings, cocktails, lunch and dinner haute cuisine, it led to an enthusiastic audience of gastronomy and lovers of good food.

In its fourth edition, Punta Cana Food & Wine Festival occupies the majestic Barcelo Bavaro Resort to start and stop their activities. This hotel is also the official hosting the event, which is already one of the main tourist activities of the Punta Cana-Bavaro area.

Cocktails and Tapas (July 1st. 8pm. Barceló Bavaro Palace)

Come and get a true taste of the Caribbean at the grand opening party for the Punta Cana Food and Wine Festival 2016. Top Dominican chefs and bartenders pair up for an explosive night where music, entertainment, cocktails and tapas will be the stars of the show.

Duration of the activity: from 8pm to 10pm.

Grand Tasting (July 2nd. 8pm. Barceló Bavaro Convention Center)

The grand food festival with the participation of 15 to 20 of the main hotels and restaurants of the Punta Cana area. Gourmet tastings of the participants’ best dishes accompanied by live music and animation. Includes a complementary drink and unlimited tastings while supplies last.

Duration of the activity: from 8pm to 11pm.

Grilling and Chilling with Juan Barcos (July 2nd. 12am -Noon-. Restaurant Little John – Juanillo Beach.

Enjoy delicious bites prepared by special guest Juan Barcos directly from restaurant La Cabrera in Argentina. Considered one of the best meat restaurants in the entire region. Live DJ contests and surprises.

Duration of the activity: from 12am to 3pm.

Wines of the World (July 2nd. 8pm. Barceló Bavaro Convention Center).

An incredible wine experience. Taste wines and spirits from over 10 countries around the world all exclusively brought to the festival and not yet available in the Dominican Republic. Enjoy this magical tour of flavors offered by this unique experience in the Caribbean. Includes access to the “Grand Tasting”.
