Ideal for those looking to spend a day on a gloriously long beach in a relatively undeveloped area which also happens to be a place of antiquity, with ancient ruins buried in the sand dunes. We offer a shuttle service departing from Kas and Kalkan in the morning and returning late afternoon.
During the day you can choose to swim and relax, take a walk along the 12 km long beach and explore the ruins of the amphitheatre, the town walls and stone sarcophagi which remain from a city dating from the Lycian kingdom when it was a primary seaport. The beach has soft sand and a gently shelving seabed. There are amenities on the beach and close by for purchasing snacks and drinks.
Meeting/pick-up point: Pick up at the hotel.
Pick-up time: From Kas: 10am. From Kalkan: 10:30am.
Drop-off time: Return time to Kalkan: 4pm. To Kas 4:30pm.
Languages: Turkish.
Others: The return transfers are included along with the entrance fee to the beach. The entrance to the historical site is NOT included.
