Get to know Paris from the inside out on our Paris walking tour, starting at its very center on the bustling Île-de-la-Cité and making your way to the truly Parisian, low-key Île-Saint-Louis. This Paris walking tour has it all: Discover the stunning theatre that hosts France's César Awards each year. Re-live high-octane car chases that the streets of Paris were made for. Learn why Hollywood directors love filming in Paris. See the real-life locations that inspired some of the world's popular and universal stories, from the Hunchback of Notre-Dame to The Three Musketeers.
Starting at our box office, the Center Stage Movie & TV Sites Walking Tour explores the Latin Quarter with the famous Sorbonne University, as well as Yves Saint Laurent's favorite jazz bar and Earnest Hemmingway's favorite bookstore.
Then, we will head over to the two islands in the middle of the Seine which are best explored on foot. You will meander down insolite locations off the beaten track roads and you will also pass by and learn about famous Parisian landmarks, notably Notre-Dame, two police headquarters, the city hall, the Parisian flower market, the Palais de Justice (French law courts), the Sainte Chapelle church and La Conciergerie (a former prison).
This tour is a two-hour relaxed stroll jam-packed with information and locations. If you prefer a fast-paced or longer walking tour, get in touch to book a private tour of our Extended Version Center Stage Tour with a host of further locations and movies. (Usually another hour, but we can tailor our private tours).
