This trip includes a day pass to Paphos Zoo. Originally founded as a sanctuary for bird life, the park is home to hundreds of different species, from flamingos and parrots to parakeets, owls and cockatoos. That’s not all there is to see, though. Over the years, the zoo has grown in size, and now lots of different animals are looked after here. You’ll spot llamas and emus towards the back of the zoo, and Nile crocodiles, giant tortoises, kangaroos and fruit bats near the front. There’s a couple of dining spots onsite, as well as a museum where you can learn all about the animals that live here. If you’ve got little ones in tow, don’t miss the dinky farm area – during certain times of the year, you can pet and feed the animals.
