See all the highlights with a one hour sightseeing tour through the old city to the left of the River Salzach, famous for its music universities as well as Mozart’s Birthplace and Residence. After crossing over the Staatsbrücke you’ll find yourself in the heart of the baroque Old Town to explore landmarks such as St Peter’s Abbey, Hohensalzburg Castle and the Salzburg Cathedral.
Afterwards, the tour continues to the rococo Schloss Leopoldskron, setting for the famous “Sound of Music” film, before returning to the centre passing by Nonnberg Abbey and Mirabell Square. At the end of the tour you are invited to have coffee and cake at restaurant M32 with breathtaking views over the Old Town of Salzburg.
