In Puerto Chaitén, in Serrano area, introduction of the rafts and revising the excursion of 40 km (24 mi) on Serrano river. Navigation towards El Salto, place to disembark and walk for about 15 minutes to the viewpoint of Donoso Hill and the waterfall of Serrano River. Later, boarding on another raft to continue navigating towards Monte Balmaceda. During the trip, stop to enjoy a privileged view of Tyndall Glacier. For the last part of the nagivation, visit to Monte Balmaceda to observe the glacier with the same name and, then, landing at Puerto Toro for a one-hour walk, round trip, by the shore of the Témpanos Lagoon, through a native forest of Dombey’s beeches, Antarctic beech and Chilean firetrees to Serrano Glacier. Here, boarding on Agunsa Orca and Agunsa Tonina to continue sailing to Puerto Natales to have a cocktail and a snack. Lunch en route. Return to Puerto Natales.

The catamaran Agunsa Orca and Lancha Tonina begin their navigation on Canal Señoret to Monte Balmaceda, while the guests have breakfast on board. The first high spot is the Frigorífico Bories Historical Monument. The Sociedad Explotadora Tierra del Fuego founded this cold-storage plant in 1913; and for over 60 years, it was the most important slaughterhouse in the area. Going further on the fiord, the tour goes to Guanaco Island to see the small and wonderful Magellanic dolphins or toninas. Later, through Margot Farm, access to Pared de Cormorantes, home for a great amount of rock shags (Magellanic cormorants). Trip to Punta de Lobos, home for sea lions. Then, a visit to the waterfalls and cliffs to observe condors.

The journey continues to Monte Balmaceda, to first observe the glacier with the same name. Later, landing in Puerto Toro to begin a one-hour walk, round trip, by the shore of Témpanos lagoon, through a native forest of Dombey’s beeches, heading to Serrano glacier. The tour retakes Serrano river, which has about 40 km long (24 mi) and joins the fiord with Torres del Paine. This river gets its water from the melting of Grey, Tyndall, Geike and Balmaceda glaciers. During navigation, stop to enjoy a privileged sight of the Tyndall gralier. Arrival to waterfall sector, 15-minute walk to change boats and continue excursion. Arrival to final destination: Puerto Chaitén in Serrano area to enjoy a delightful loca lunch in a quincho.
