This is a working village and gives guests the opportunity to experience how local Zambian live in a village. You get to meet and talk with the friendly villagers, learn how their huts (homes) are built and decorated, and see the locals at work creating curios.
Mukuni village previously known as “Gundu” was founded in the 13th century and later named after the ruler (Mukuni). It is home to the Leya people.
