This luxe golf resort is Cyprus’ oldest, and it’s got a really unusual setting, in the peaceful grounds of a Medieval monastery. Tee off here and you’ll look out over Cyprus’ majestic Troodos Mountains, and ancient gardens filled with walnut, almond and olive trees. The course itself is immaculately tended, and brags pretty water features and an altitude of 550 metres. Thanks to its high-up location, you can expect a constant cool breeze, so playing in the sticky summer months is doable. There’s a fancy clubhouse onsite, which houses a gourmet restaurant and a stylish cocktail bar. Floor-to-ceiling windows show off the course to perfection while you dine, too.
