Football fans are in for a treat as Premier League champions Manchester United are coming to town as part of their 2013 Asian Tour. See the likes of Robin van Persie, Johnny Evans, Michael Carrick and David de Gea take on historic Hong Kong outfit Kitchee, one of the territory’s most popular clubs.

To avoid your holiday just being about football, we have arranged a full day excursion package that allows you to include the sightseeing highlights of Hong Kong as well. Start the day with a tour around Hong Kong Island. This includes a visit to Aberdeen Harbour and Fishing Village, where you enjoy sampan ride around the harbour and see how the fishermen and their families still reside on their boats. The tour will then proceed to Stanley Market, a popular place to pick up bargains or souvenirs. The last stop on Hong Kong Island will be Victoria Peak, which boats fabulous views of Victoria Harbour and surrounding areas.

Take a break for a delicious Chinese lunch with Peking duck before continuing to explore the sights of Kowloon with an open-top bus ride. This will be followed by a ride on the famous Star Ferry. As you cross over Victoria Harbour, you can admire Hong Kong’s stunning skyscraper skyline. Transfer you to Hong Kong Stadium for the exciting finale of the day.

Meeting point: From Kowloon at the Sheraton Hotel (lower lobby) at 8.30am and from Hong Kong at Park Lane Hotel lobby at 8.55am. Drop off at stadium at 4pm.
