Dubai has the world’s biggest one. The Bellagio, in Las Vegas, is famous for its version. And with this ticket, you can grab a seat at Cyprus’ own spectacular musical fountain show. You’ll arrive a little earlier than everyone else, so you can take advantage of an all-you-can-eat international buffet spread. Once the lights are dimmed, 18,000 nozzles spurt jets of water into the air in time with the music, while 1,200 lights illuminate the performance. There are 65 different shapes created by the fountain, including a 60-metre-long curtain of water that acts as a screen and brings to life a state-of-the-art laser projection. Smoke machines and fire canons add to the drama, before a theatrical finale which sees a manmade volcano erupt, complete with flowing lava. The show is accompanied by a soundtrack of classical and well-known songs, and there’s also a bar if you want to order a drink.
