Información

Prepare to take in a wild show combining flamenco, ballet, martial arts, tap dancing and magic. The famous Spanish performers The Vivancos return to the stage with Aeternum, a breath-taking spectacle that combines profound artistry with the paranormal. So if you’re staying in Barcelona, don’t miss out on this chance to come to the beautiful Tivoli Theatre and see one of the most spectacular shows around.

The Vivancos last took the world by storm with their first show 7 Brothers. It was performed far and wide over 35 countries and brought almost a million viewers to see it. The success was astonishing. Now, the Vivancos unveil their second production, Aerternum, a tour de force that probes the limits of the supernatural and the paranormal.

Not only the otherworldly is present in Aeternum; the very basis of the show is dance – or, should we say, dances. Styles as far apart as flamenco, martial arts or tap dancing come together in this magical catharsis. This show counts with the assistance of Daniele Finzi Pasca, the visionary behind Cirque du Soleil Corteo, Donka or Nebbia.

All these swift, smooth, jerky, passionate or violent moves are performed to the sound of a stunning orchestration composed by Fernando Velazquez, who wrote the Goya-nominated soundtrack for the film “The Orphanage.” Velazquez is the genius mind who blends the different musical styles together for this seemingly impossible dance performance. But this is Aeternum, and in Aeternum the impossible all of a sudden seems very real indeed.

Meeting/pick-up point: C/Casp 8.
Start/opening time: Wednesday and Thursday at 9pm. Friday and Saturday at 6.30pm and 9.30pm. Sunday at 6.30 pm.
