Calling all Downton Abbey fans! Take a tour through the picturesque Cotswolds and see Oxford and Blenheim Palace on a full day tour from London you won’t forget.

HIGHLIGHTS:

* See all your favourite Downton Abbey filming locations
* Admire the beauty of Blenheim Palace
* Take a walking tour through Oxford

If you’re a fan of Downton Abbey and picturesque English countryside, then this is the tour for you! Discover the beauty of Blenheim Palace, Oxford’s architecture, the rolling hills of the Cotswolds and, of course, the filming locations of one of Britain’s most beloved period dramas.

We leave behind the bright lights of London and head out into the fresh country air surrounding Oxford. Your expert guide will take you on a walking tour through the city’s historic streets. Home to the oldest university in the English speaking world, Oxford hides beautiful architecture around every corner.

Bask in the beauty of Blenheim Palace, a fairytale country mansion. See the sumptuous State Rooms with their priceless treasures, stroll through sweeping landscaped gardens designed by Capability Brown, and grab a photo opportunity at the shimmering lake.

Next stop on your tour is the idyllic Cotswolds village of Bampton, which has featured extensively in Downton Abbey. Take a stroll past the church, hospital and shops before heading on to Shilton. If you’ve chosen the tour with lunch option we’ll enjoy a two course lunch in Burford, also known as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’ with an extraordinary medieval bridge and traditional houses. The final stop on our tour is Yew Tree Farm (Cogges) where you can relax with a cup of tea in the rustic cow shed cafe and discover the great house and farm buildings.
