Enjoy the beauty of the City of Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria. Leaving Fuerteventura we will take the large Fred Olsen ferry from Morro Jable over to Las Palmas.
Departing the harbour, we visit the old town of Vegueta, where we find the Columbus House and the pretty square of Santa Ana. There is an optional visit to the cathedral and the Mirador (entrance fees at guests expense). Alternatively, you can enjoy the option of free shopping time in Triana . Total time for the morning visit is approx. 1,5 hours.
In the afternoon, there is a visit to the Alfredo Kraus auditorium. You can enjoy something to eat or enjoy shopping time in Las Arenas shopping centre. Alternatively you can eat and enjoy a relaxing walk along the Las Canteras avenida. Total time for the afternoon visit is approx. 2 hours.
On the way back to the Ferry, we pass by the Mesa and Lopez streets and the harbour of Santa Catalina. Discover all the best bits of this beautiful city in just one day.
