This night-trip is a bit of a Cinderella experience. You'll catch a coach to Kusadasi where you can dictate what you do with your time. For nightlife with an authentic underscore, head into the Kaleici area. This is one of the oldest parts of the city and its nucleus is around Barbaros Boulevard and Saglik Main Road. It's here that you'll find taverns that serve mezze and raki while live musicians play in the background. Bar Street is another option. The bars here are prefixed by everything from cocktail to Irish to karaoke. Whatever you choose to do, you'll meet up with the coach about 10.30pm and you'll be back at your hotel by the stroke of midnight.
