Discovering the Slovenian coast and and the Karst region. The first stop is the visit of medieval Predjama Castle with dramatic setting in the gaping mouth of a cavern halfway up a hillside. The tour continues to Skocjan Caves one of the largest and most beautiful Karst caves in Europe where you will see river Reka 200m below the surface.
After getting out of the amazing cave, you will get the opportunity to taste famous Karst air-dried prosciutto (we like to think it is the best prosciutto in the world) and wine Teran – produced only in Karst region. We continue to Lipica, the homeland of the white Lipizzaner – famous horse of the Spanish riding school in Vienna.
Pass coastal towns of Koper, Izola and Portoroz we reach everyone’s favourite town on the Slovenian coast – Piran where you can get lost in its medieval narrow streets and houses, enjoy a great seafood lunch or take a swim in the Adriatic Sea.
