This hotel is ideally situated for the rail traveller as it is opposite the railway station of Haarlem and for the motorist there is a covered car Park for up to 150 vehicles. The Lion D'or hotel is also conveniently situated within easy walking distance of the main shopping area and the old center of Haarlem. There is a jogging track behind the hotel building as well as a golf course situated locally. The building is traditional in design and blends in well with the surrounding houses. The hotel has recently undergone redecoration and the lobby area, though small, is very pleasant, cosy and clean. The medium sized rooms are comfortably furnished, have full modern facilities and are always maintained to very high standards. There is a small, but locally renowned, restaurant which serves a small selection of delicious local dishes at very reasonable prices.
