The Hotel is situated in the centre of the calm and verdant landscape of Olympia. Olympia is a sanctuary of ancient Greece in Elis. It is known for having been the site of the Olympic Games in classical times, comparable in importance to the Pythian Games held in Delphi. Both games were held every Olympiad; the Olympic Games dating back possibly further than 776 BC. The town has a train station and is the easternmost terminus of the line of Olympia-Pyrgos (Ilia). This is a very modern hotel built with simple good taste.
