Step into traditional Bulgaria on this trip, where the whole family can discover local customs in a trio of villages. The first stop is the town of Kosharitsa, where you’ll visit a bee garden. Learn local secrets about the production of honey and have a taste of ‘medovina’ – a drink made from honey, lemon and orange. Next, you’ll head to the village of Erkech, where kids will love riding through town in a donkey cart. Visit a traditional Bulgarian house and enjoy a series of cultural experiences, including folklore songs, a textile demonstration and a cooking competition. Next, you’ll tuck in to a delicious lunch of homemade cheeses, barbecued meats and salad, before travelling to the colourful town of Pomorie.
