Join us on this unique bike ride through the wonders of Bangkok. Explore lively Chinatown, Buddhist temples, relaxing canals and surprisingly green-belt areas. The tour starts with a short briefing given by the guide. Next, you may select the bike that better adapts to your preference: mountain bike or lady bike and we are ready to start our ride!
We start by exploring the bustling everyday life of Chinatown, through narrow alleyways and winding pathways best accessed through two-wheel transport. We pass the market, local Buddhist temples and a vast array of unique “street life”. We cross the Chao Phraya River by ferry and continue the tour in Thonburi, former capital city of Thailand. Riding along the river, you will see more local temples as well as a sample of a shower-paced lifestyle of urban Thai on this side of the river. Here, we take a 30 minute break from cycling to enjoy a relaxing long-tail boat ride through the local canals. In this portion of the tour, we’ll see the fascinating life along the canal as well as an interesting mix of new and old Thai architecture.
After disembarking from the long-tail boat, we enter the surprisingly green-belt areas in urban Bangkok. Cycling on elevated walkways, we’ll explore fruit and herb plantations and see a sample of rural living right in the middle of the city. We stop for a nice drink and a snack in a rural area. We then continue cycling a few more minutes on to another long-tail boat ride which will take us along another canal and back to the city where we finish the tour.
