Depart Bangkok for “Amphawa Floating Market”, an afternoon food market held on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, situated on the canals close to Wat Amphawan Chetiyaram. See the charm and colourful scenery of Thai life along the river banks. Here you have time to explore the market and learn how Thais used to trade in the old days. Sit down on the tiny tables overlooking the canals and try some of the local Thai foods, snack, and drinks from the original vendors who sell goods directly from their boats.

In the evening, we will take a small boat heads out on the waterways in order to spot some of the large population of fireflies that live in the trees on the canal banks. After that transfer back to Bangkok.
