You’ll start the day in Turkish style on this half-day tour. First up is breakfast – a traditional pick ‘n’ mix of farm-fresh vegetables, olives, cheese, eggs and freshly-baked bread. Börek tops off the feast. These feta-packed pastries have been on Ottoman breakfast menus for centuries. In true Turkish tradition, the breakfast will wind down with a pot of Turkish black tea – and the server will show you how to make the perfect brew. If you prefer, you can opt for a sweet Turkish coffee. A long, lazy breakfast wouldn’t be complete without a newspaper to leaf through, so you’ll be offered a selection of British weeklies, too. On the way back to the hotel, there’s a bonus stop at a mosque, where you’ll have a chance to check out its decorated domes and sky-scraping towers.
