A day of fun and adventure begins in Christchurch on board the world-famous TranzAlpine train. Sit back, relax and enjoy a journey across the fertile Canterbury Plains, through rugged foothills, along stunning river gorges, through tunnels and across viaducts into the picturesque Arthur's Pass National Park, in the heart of the stunning snowcapped Southern Alps.
Then it’s time to board your next mode of transport or a four-wheel-drive journey to Flock Hill Lodge for a hearty three-course lunch. Then set off on a 20km safari in to an area inaccessible to the public exploring the vast 35,000 acre Flock Hill sheep station.
Arrive at the Waimakariri River to board a jet boat, as you continue your journey by river downstream 15km to Woodstock Sheep Station for afternoon tea in a secluded riverside lodge. For the final leg of the journey, board a coach to you travel back across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch City.
